In 2021, Siemens Gamesa started operating its first green hydrogen pilot project in Brande, Denmark.
Since then, the Brande Hydrogen project has produced green hydrogen from an onshore wind turbine connected to an electrolyzer, producing fuel to power taxis in Copenhagen, Denmark.
After 15 months of operation, Siemens Gamesa has released a whitepaper on the technical, policy and commercial findings thus far. To discuss these findings in more detail and talk about the journey to scale this nascent technology, Pamela Largue speaks to Benedikt Mayerle, Lead Solution Architect, Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy.
